Creating Safe Experiences for Your Guests

Certified in COVID-19 sanitation and specializing in regulation compliance

The healthy and safety at your event is our number one priority.  We take sanitation seriously, are certified in Covid Compliance and understand the current requirements locally, regionally and beyond.

In founding the San Diego Event Coalition in June 2020, we have led the organization in developing Guidelines for Safely Reopening Events in San Diego County which were approved by County Health Officials and submitted for State review.

CASE STUDIES

LA MESA HOLIDAY IN THE VILLAGE CRAFT MARKET 2020

As one of the first events permitted within San Diego County under the extended Market Guidelines, the La Mesa Holiday in Village was modified to create a holiday experience with limited touch points and sufficient opportunities for distancing.

Safety adjustments included:

  • Spacing booths 6ft apart and allowing a maximum of 3 guests per 10x10 booth at a time.

  • Designing a touch-free photo opportunity.

  • Creating a barrier surrounding for caroler performances.

  • Utilizing mask wearing stilt walkers for added whimsy that performed while maintaining 6ft of distance.

  • Designated a hot shot Clean Team to the food court areas for continuous cleaning of tables with a signage system to differentiate clean versus dirty tables.

  • Implemented a robust signage system to designate a route of travel, convey personal hygiene reminders and design distanced lines.

  • Created controlled entrances (for guests, participants, vendors and staff) with health checks and temperature scans.

The traditional Gaslamp Quarter Pet Parade was scheduled at the beginning of the second full round of California Stay At Home orders, requiring the event to modify to comply with current regulations and to ensure a safe event for all participants.  In addition, the local district that was even more in need of a campaign that drove traffic to the open businesses and retailers.

We developed Gaslamp Howl-iday Paw-tay a self-guided sidewalk stroll over the course of a week (rather than a single day) with trivia, packed goody bags, costume contests and photo installations.

2020 GOLF TOURNAMENT

for the Downtown San Diego Partnership

A great option for events looking to fundraise, offer company incentives/benefits or engage with customers, golf tournaments benefit from their inherent outdoor and distanced nature

Tournaments also provide great opportunities for a safe event with a few key areas of increased focus:

  • Clear communication before, during and after the event on healthy and safety protocols.

  • Ample signage for personal health reminders and to aid in social distancing.

  • Reduced touch points and human interaction with staggered start times, mobile scoring and virtual raffle tickets.

  • Modified food and beverage service to avoid large group gatherings.

When tasked with creating a safe and regulation compliant concept for KevTalks, a highlight event for the Downtown business community featuring San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, we created a drive-in spectacular with a virtual stream component.

For this roast-style event, we designed processes of minimal human interaction and continually sanitation of all stage equipment for speakers while introducing quirky props and jam packed goodie bags for an all around dynamic fundraiser.
