La Jolla California is proud to welcome the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance presented by LPL Financial and Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty back to the jewel of the West Coast on of Friday, April 22nd to Sunday, April 24th, 2022 to celebrate its 16th year of automotive excellence.  Earning the reputation as one of the finest internationally renowned classic automobile showcases in the United States, the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance continues to attract discerning car enthusiasts from around the globe. The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance is an incredible weekend of prestigious events that takes great pride in appreciating the outstanding specimens that make up the automotive industry as we know it. With such a rich history and ever-growing population of vehicles in the world, the La Jolla Concours has made it a standing tradition to select a marque each year to honor throughout the weekend of events. The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance is pleased to announce that Bugatti has been chosen as the 2020 honored marque.

2021 is the year that the La Jolla Concours will showcase Ettore Bugatti’s impact as a designer and founder of the small family-run company in Molsheim, which is in the Alsace district of North Eastern France that rose to become the legendary brand it is today. 2020 also celebrates the 60th anniversary of the American Bugatti Club founded in Southern California in 1960 as well as 100 years since the first Brescia Bugatti was delivered and the La Jolla Concours is honored to take the opportunity to celebrate the Bugatti legacy. 

The 16th Annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance, in addition to Bugatti, will also celebrate the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing dubbed the sportscar of the century along with an exquisite showcase of over 150 spectacular automobiles from around the world. This celebratory automotive weekend will begin on Saturday, April 17th and continue through Sunday, April 18th with themed parties, extravagant social clubs, and showstopping vehicles all with the breathtaking views of La Jolla. 

The 16th Annual La Jolla Concours d’Elegance proceeds will go towards La Jolla Historical Society, which preserves the history of the gem known as La Jolla. In addition to the La Jolla Historical Society, The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance benefits several additional local community nonprofit partners each year.
