Debuting December 5–6, Après Tavern transforms Balboa Park’s Plaza de Panama into a cozy alpine retreat at December Nights. This free 21+ destination pairs festive cocktails, Glühwein, craft beers, and gourmet bites like crêpes and charcuterie with rustic décor, twinkling lights, and live entertainment including Frankie J. performing Saturday at 7 PM. With games, photo ops, and a front-row view of the museum’s light show, it’s the ultimate European winter escape in San Diego.
