Plaza del Pasado Concert Series

Sunset Summer Concerts

Sunset Summer Concerts kicks off on Sunday, August 24th, 2008 so pack up your picnic basket, grab your blanket and enjoy an evening under the stars with your family and friends.  This FREE outdoor concert is taking place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (music begins at 6:00 PM) at Clay Park located at 6506 Solita Avenue, San Diego, CA 92115, one block south of El Cajon Boulevard off of Art Street. This exceptional musical opportunity features live entertainment by the dynamic Coastal Communities Concert Band, an enthusiastic 83 person symphonic band conducted by Rob Fleming.  After forming in 1983, this Sudler Award-winning adult band performs classical masterpieces, triumphant marches, upbeat show tunes and Big Band numbers that will have you jumpin’ and jivin’!
