High Tech High School is a non traditional school for students who are seeking a career in arts or technical fields. This particular fundraiser was set and to benefit the new “Language Arts” program. Playing on this theme, we created an authentic Asian theme in an otherwise very simple space. Over 50 red parasols were suspended from the ceiling by clear twine at varying heights. This décor element created a false ceiling and a visually stunning display
White orchids played out beautifully against red lighting and Mandarin gobos which boasted “welcome” in lights.
6 ft. tables butted against each other created wide linear seating which made for ease in conversation and a perfect viewing for the evening’s program. A red silk runner added to the Asian feel and acted not only as a disguise for the seam between the two tables, but acted beautifully as a backdrop for three different flower arrangements placed down the table to create one centerpiece
